Excessive Sweating

Everyone sweats and living in a tropical country, this is a common phenomenon people face. Sweat is produced in the sweat glands found within skin pores and sweat acts as a natural body temperature regulator.

However, some people face a problem called hyperhidrosis or excessive sweating. This condition occurs in certain regions of the body such as the face, head, back, armpits, palms of the hand and groin which leaves visible sweat stains. Individuals who suffer from this condition may have developed it during adolescence and exhibit excessive sweating despite warm or cool conditions.

In normal conditions, sweat glands are only activated during rigorous activities or due to an increase in temperature but for people with hyperhidrosis, the sweat glands never stop producing sweat and this causes them to feel clammy and uncomfortable.

In essence, a treatment that can stop these sweat glands from producing sweat can solve the problem of hyperhidrosis, and thus, improving quality of life.
